CALIFORNIA PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Orange County Elementary
Orange County Elementary
Orange County elementary school was in need of better air quality for their students and faculty.
ACTION PLAN
AtmosAir installed one classroom with a Matterhorn 1000 system to see what effects this would have on room air quality. The IAQ testing took place over a 4-month period. In order to eliminate any predisposition the rooms might have to prevailing environmental conditions, the air purification system was switched between rooms during the middle of the test.

In addition, independent laboratory DTS Environmental measured 60 mold spore samples in accordance with EPA/SCAQMC/OSHA requirements. An NVLAB-accredited laboratory analyzed the samples.

RESULTS
AtmosAir significantly reduced TVOC and mold spores when installed in the classroom.
• TVOC Reduction: 90%
• Mold Spore Reduction: 50%
Third party testing performed by DTS Environmental and an NVLAB-accredited laboratory.

UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
John McKay Center
John McKay Center
USC chose 5 areas within the training facility for testing. They included the football training center, the weight room, the locker room, and the two open spaces on the first and second floors.
ACTION PLAN
AtmosAir systems were installed at the University of Southern California’s John McKay Center. USC’s new $70 million, 110,000-square-foot athletic and academic facility is a powerful symbol of the rich USC history. Third party indoor air quality testing was completed to test the effects of the AtmosAir bi-polar ionization technology.
TESTING
USC chose 5 areas within the training facility for testing. They included the football training center, the weight room, the locker room, and two open spaces on the first and second floors.
RESULTS
AtmosAir improved indoor air quality significantly, and the reduction of particulate matter and TVOC was substantial.
PM10 particles are small enough to breathed in and enter the throat. PM2.5 particles are small enough to be breathed in and enter the lungs. These particles can cause illness and discomfort. TVOCs are gaseous elements that can cause odors and irritations.
• VOC Reduction: 90%
• PM2.5 Reduction: 50%
• PM10 Reduction: 95%
AtmosAir is currently installed in multiple USC Athletic Facility buildings, including the entire John McKay Center and Heritage Hall. USC and AtmosAir believe that athletic performance is tied to overall indoor air quality.

Leake Building
Leake Building
The University of Virginia was looking to increase the quality of air in their Leake Building on campus.
ACTION PLAN
Two AtmosAir 508FC were installed in the 30k square foot Leake building in 2017 to improve IAQ and reduce energy consumption. UVA will reduce outside air by 50% in addition to using the AtmosAir Solutions technology.
RESULTS
Perceptual air quality improvement results were immediately noticed.
